For every CD purchased through this site, $10 (USD) will be donated to the Huntington's Disease Society of America's research department.
The Huntington's Disease Society of America (HDSA) is a national non-profit voluntary health agency dedicated to finding a cure for Huntington's Disease. HDSA provides vital support, information and educational services to improve the lives of those affected by HD, offers resources and guidance for HD families through their national network of volunteer-based chapters and affiliates as well as through their HDSA Centers of Excellence for Family Services and promotes and supports research to find a cure for HD, through the HDSA Coaltion for the Cure, CHDI and their clinical trial partners.
Personal note:
Music tends to have the ability to touch us in a way that words simply cannot. Everyone sees life from their own persepctive and based on their own experiences. When emotions are translated into words, we depend on another's understanding of those words to mean exactly the same as we do for effective communication to take place but often, the meanings are slightly off target. Music allows us to bypass this phase altogether - it is a direct link from one heart to another in a way that words could never hope to achieve.
Each and every one of these songs holds a special meaning to me personally and comes from the heart. I hope they touch yours. Consider this my thanks for your willingness to help treat and eventually, erradicate an insidious disease which causes so much suffering.
